Funeral services for Mrs. W. E. Carter, Route 2, Greenville, who died at 4 p. m. Saturday in a Greenville hospital, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Coker-Mathews-Peter (sic) chapel. Further arrangements are pending with the local funeral home.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband, eight sons, Herbert E. Carter, Dallas; Joe C. Carter, Bakersfield, Calif.; Billy Carter, Rowlett, Tex.; Albert P. Carter, Garland; Howard L. Carter, Slaton R. Carter, Raymond G. Carter and Donald G. Carter, all of Greenville; one daughter, Lois Marie Carter; two sisters, Mrs. Pearly Roberts, Dallas and Mrs. Eliza Teeter, Sparks, Nev.; one brother, Charles Pendergrass, Draper, N. C. and 15 grandchildren. One son preceded Mrs. Carter in death.
