Sandra Jane Abrahamson, 71, Superior, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 in St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1939 in Minneapolis to Ralph M. and Esther "Pat" (Halberg) Chapman.
She was employed with Murphy Oil refinery for 27 years.
Sandy lived her life fully and actively, enjoying gardening, sewing, golfing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
She was an active and a supportive member of Country Peace Presbyterian Church.
Her life was lived with a focus on joy, love and dedication.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Sonny (Alvin); her son Scott (Terri); her daughters Alaina and Linda; her granddaughters, Deidre (Jon) and Krystin; her sister, Dana (Ken) Gilroy; sisters-in-law; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren, Zack and Ian and many other loving relatives and friends.
Sandy's life of joy, love and dedication will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 21, at 11:30 a.m. at Country Peace Presbyterian Church with Pastor Richard Blood, officiating.
