Aniceta C. Martínez, age 87, beloved mother and grandmother was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior on Wednesday, March 5, 2003, while surrounded by her loving family.
Aniceta was preceded in death by her husband, Luís Martínez and two sons, Fidel Martínez and Francisco Martínez.
Aniceta is survived by her loving children, Rudy, Rufino and his wife, María, Lewis and his wife, Patsy, Chris and his wife, Carol, Julius and his wife, Michelle, Brian, Mary Louise, Melinda, Mary Jane, Linda, Grace and Michelle Martínez, her precious grandchildren, Allen Rey, Toni Marie, Rachelann, Renee, Kristine, Michael Lewis, Cheyenne, Alexander and Yvette and her great-grandchildren, Kayla Marie, Leah, Marissa, Santiago and David.
Visitations for Aniceta will be on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m., also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bernalillo Cemetery in Bernalillo, NM. Casket bearers will be Aniceta's sons, Rudy Martínez, Rufino Martínez, Lewis Martínez, Chris Martínez, Julius Martínez and Brain Martínez.
