Death of W.H. Caldwell
W.H. Caldwell, one of the early settlers of Lake County, passed away at his home at Plush last Thursday at the age of 70 years, five months and 17 days. The remains were taken to Burns for burial. Besides his wife and a number of children survive him. Mr. Caldwell came to lake County in the early 80's having removed here from Douglas County, where his parents located in an early day. He leaves a large number of friends who extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.
