Her father was a Boot and Leather Dealer.

George Mongey, a bachelor, a National School Teacher, from Burren, son of Thomas Mongey, an Ex Sergeant in the RIC, married Josephine Lynch, a spinster, a Teacher, from Castlebar, daughter of Patrick J. Lynch, a Merchant, on 4 September 1916, at Tuam Cathedral, Tuam, Co. Galway.

aged 75, married, of 27 Deerpark Road, Mount Merrion.
She died of a Sub-Arachnoid Haemorrhage at St. Vincent's Hospital
