ALBERT PAOLANTONIO

Albert Paolantonio of Southold, a well known professional photographer, passed away at the Eastern Long Island Hospital on Sunday, September 17th. Mr. Paolantonio, who was 47 years of age, was born in Greenport, a son of Carny Paolantonio, deceased, and Madeline DeLuca.

A World War II veteran and a professional photographer for years, he has been a resident of Southold for the past 12 years. For about 15 years Mr Paolantonio had been on the staff of the US Department of Agriculture Laboratory at Plum Island as staff photographer. He was a member of Catholic War Veterans No. 730, Griswold-Terry-Glover American Legion Post and the Island's End Golf and Country Club.

Surviving Mr Paolantonio are his wife Ethel Paolantonio; a daughter Donna and a son Glenn, all of Southold; his mother, Mrs Madeline DeLuca of Hollywood, Calif; two brothers, Mellio of Rahway, NJ and Donald Gordon of Beverly Hills, Calif; two sisters, Mrs Ida Davis of Albany, Oregon and Mrs Marie Green of Downey, Calif.

A Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Agnes RC Church, Greenport on Wednesday, September 20th. Interment was in St Agnes cemetery.
