Alice Bertha was born October 29, 1882 Davenport, Iowa. She married Samuel Madison Johnston Domer, born September 30, 1876 in Goshen, Indiana, on May 2, 1899 in Lexington, Nebraska. Alice and Sam had six children: Daisy Pearl, Willis Madison, Alvin Edwin, DeVon Carlyle, Edward Samuel, and Ralph (Leo?) Lyle. Sam left his family to fend for themselves in 1911. Alice divorced him on the grounds of desertion in 1913.
She then married Thomas L. Perkins October 15, 1913. Alice and Tom had three children: Thomas Walter, Arlene Bernice and Dorothy Adell. Alice and Tom ran a ranch on Gurnett Creek near Canton, Montana where they raised chickens, sheep cattle and had a large garden and a small orchard. Alice lived off and on up at the ranch until her later years when poor health forced her to moved in with son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Anna Maud Domer. She died just short of her 100th birthday on March 29, 1982. She is buried with her husband Tom in the Deep Creek Cemetery, Broadwater County, Montana.

Perkins
Alice Riffle Perkins, pioneer resident of Broadwater County, passed away March 29, 1982 at St. Peters' Hospital in Helena at the age of 99.
She was born in Davenport, Iowa, October 29. 1882. She received her schooling in Lexington, Nebraska.
Alice married Samuel Domer in Nebraska and about 75 years ago they moved to Montana, residing in Butte and Helena before moving to Duck Crek in 1910. In 1912 (actually 1913) she married Thomas L. Perkins and ranched on Gurnett Creek.
Mrs. Perkins continued to run the ranch after her husband's death. The last few winters she spent with her son, Ralph (Domer) in East Helena, but spent the summers on the ranch.
Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband and eldest son, Willis.
Surviving are five sons, DeVon and Alvin Domer of Townsend, Edward Domer of Seeley Lake, Ralph Domer of East Helena and Thomas W. Perkins of Bozeman: and three daughters, Arleen (Perkins) Holling of Corvallis, Dorothy (Perkins) Mills of Livingston and Daisy (Domer) Brinkman of Santa Clara, Ca.: twenty-one grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at the Conner's Mortuary in Townsend, Saturday, April 3.
Burial was in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
Pullbearers were Bruce Domer, Ray Domer, Gordon Mills, Jr., Larry Peterson, Chuck McIntire and Barry Domer.
