ST. ELMO - Mrs. D. R. "Dick" (Hester M. Wright) Bartimus, 92, of St. Elmo died 2:50 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 1, 1984) in Heritage Home Care Center, St. Elmo.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in May Funeral Home, St. Elmo, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, rural Beecher City.

Mrs. Bartimus was born in Loudon Township, daughter of James and Lydia Wright. She was a charter member of Fayette Home Extension and Royal Neighbors of America 5784. She married David R. Bartimus in 1915. He died in 1974.

Surviving are her son, Charles of Kansas City, Kan.; daughter, Velma Lilly of St. Elmo; brother, Bill Wright of Beecher City; sister, Beulah Rogers of Beecher City; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Two sons, four brothers, three sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.
