Uncle Virg was a truly nice, kind, and gentle man. He and his wife, Lucille, came to our home in Los Angeles, CA several times and it was a joyous time, indeed! Before my uncle 'Virgil' settled into the profession of Deputy Sheriff, he began as a mechanic and owned his own business in Ypsilanti, MI. Virgil also worked as a welder for the University of MI, Maintenance Dept.
