Death Claims Morris Loeb
Morris Loeb Sr., 68, prominent Columbus businessman and president of the Sol Loeb Co., died yesterday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital after an illness of one day.
He was a native and life resident of this city. His home was at 2214 Thirteenth Street.
Mr. Loeb attended Columbus High School, was a member of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, and was an active member of Temple B'nai Israel.
The local businessman was president of the temple for several years.
He was born in Columbus a son of the late Sol and Carrie Sable (Sabel) Loeb.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Stadler Loeb, Columbus; a son, Morris Loeb Jr., Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Loeb Steinhauser, Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Max Loeb, Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. Sadie L. Buhler, New York City, and two grandchildren, Arthur F. and Charles Steinhauser, Jr., both of Baltimore Md.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete this morning.

Rites Set Today for Morris Loeb
Funeral services for Morris Loeb Sr., 68, who died Monday, were to be held at 2 p.m. today at Striffler's chapel.
Rabbi Alfred L. Goodman of Temple Israel was to conduct the services, with interment at Riverdale.
Mr. Loeb was president of the Sol Loeb company. He died at St. Francis hospital after an illness of one day.
Pallbearers were Richard Hecht, Robert Hecht, Herbert Fingerhut, Millar Jackson, Jac Rothschild, and Theodore Arenowitch.
Honorary pallbearers were Jessie Hecht, J.B. Hecht Sr., C.E. Hecht Sr., Simon Schwob, Abe Straus, Maurice Rosenberg, Dr. Harry Brill, M.J. Land, J.B. Key Sr., Claud Brown, and Hamlin Ford.
