FERGUSON, MARGARET R. "PEGGY" (NEE FOX) 94 - of Cape May, completed her tasks in this life and began her glorious resurrected life on Thursday evening, October 20th, 2010. Peggy was born in 1915 in Weston, WV, and moved to Cape May with her family when she was young. She was a graduate of Cape May High School Class of 1933. She and her late husband Charles spent many years in Framingham, Mass., and upon his death in 1981 Peggy moved back to Cape May. During WW II, Peggy was a 'Rosie the Riveter', helping assemble airplanes in Philadelphia. She was a member of the Cape May United Methodist Church. She was a longtime hospital volunteer, both in Massachusetts and in Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital's Et Cetera Shop, where she had volunteered since 1983. Her dedication led to her receiving both the 'Volunteer of the Month' recognition, and in 1997, the 'Volunteer of the Year' award. She is survived by: nieces Peg (and Kirk) Endicott, and Janie (and Mick) Hall; nephew, Ed (and Carol) McDuell; and six grand nieces and grand nephews - Stacey (and Todd) Wilson, Kevin (and Jackie) Hall, Mike (and Jill) Endicott, Steve (and Tina) Endicott, Jill (and Oein) Dempsey, and Betsy (and DJ) Frimmer.
