In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother Adam R. Starkey; maternal grandmother Margaret Lemanowicz all of Morgantown; uncle and godfather John Lemanowicz and wife Nanci of Raleigh, NC; uncle and aunt Jack Lemanowicz and wife Georgeanne of Lee's Summit, MO; an aunt and godmother Susan Mapel and husband Jeffrey of Morgantown; uncles Tom Johns and wife Laura of Cincinnati, OH, Tony Starkey and wife Beth of Portland, OR, Mike Starkey, and John Starkey both of Akron, OH; and an aunt Jeanine Petersen of Akron, OH; great aunts Valentina Shumiloff, Alexandria Shumiloff, Stella Shumiloff all of Booth, Jennie Hibbs of Rivesville, Vera Spradlin, Sandra Vernon both of Morgantown, Patricia Johns of Florida; and a great uncle Bill Johns and wife Sandy of Granville. Lukas is also survived by cousins Jacob and Ethan Mapel, Max Lemanowicz, Daniel and Matthew Lemanowicz, Roman Johns, and many, many others.
He was preceded in death by his brother Zachary Starkey; maternal grandfather John Lemanowicz; and his paternal great grandparents Lawrence and Mildred Johns, and maternal great grandparents Peter and Alexandria Shumiloff.
Lukas loved to have fun. He made everyone around him enjoy life as much as he did.
His passing has left his family with many terrific, fun-loving memories. He will be missed by many.
Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday June 25, 2011 from 5-8pm, Sunday from 4-8pm, and again on Monday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor William Page officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
