MRS. D. CROSBY PASSES AWAY AT PIEDMONT HOME

Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Foster Buchanan Crosby, wife of Dr. Daniel Crosby, city health officer of Oakland during the influenza epidemic in 1918, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from St. Paul's Episcopal church, Piedmont.

Mrs. Crosby, who was well known throughout the Eastbay region, died yesterday at the family home, 311 Mountain avenue, Piedmont, after a heart attack. She had been ill for some time.

Mrs. Crosby for many years took a prominent part in functions at St. Paul's Episcopal church, of which she was a member. She was active in Red Cross work and devoted much of her time to charitable enterprises.

At her bedside when death came were her husband and their only child, Virginia Buchanan Crosby.

Mrs. Crosby was a native of San Rafael. The Crosbys were married in Fruitvale fifteen years ago. Her father, Edward Buchanan, was well known here.

Rev. Alexander Allen will officiate at the funeral tomorrow. Incineration will be private.
