Road Official Dies In Capital.
Washington - James P. REINHOLD, assistant to the president of the Santa Fe Railway, died suddenly Friday while on business in Washington, D.C. He was 55. Mr. Reinhold, a frequent visitor to Topeka, was hospitalized at Santa Fe
Hospital in Topeka for a few months. Born at Ardmore, Pa., his family moved to Chicago when he was five. He was graduated from New Trier High School and
Northwestern University. From 1928 to 1941 Mr. Reinhold was eastern states manager in the central manufacturing districts of Los Angeles and Chicago. He was
appointed representative of the president with headquarters in Chicago. In 1950 Mr. Reinhold was appointed assistant to the president at Chicago in charge of the
railroad's public relations department. Bill Burk, formerly of Topeka now heads that department. Mr. Reinhold's survivors are his widow, Mrs. Beatrice Reinhold, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Peterson, of Amarillo, Tex.; and two
sons, James Reinhold, Jr., of Chicago and Douglas Reinhold of the home.
