Viola Modrick Hutson, 95, of Amarillo died Sunday, April 20, 2003.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Washington Avenue Christian Church with Mike Wise, the Rev. Jack Cornell, the Rev. Ted Barker and the Rev. Neil Ragan officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery of Beaver, Okla., by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.
Mrs. Hutson was born north of Shattuck, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo since 1949. She graduated from May, Okla., High School and Bible College in Iowa. She was a teacher and housewife.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Modrick, in 1957; her second husband, Carl Hutson, in 1988; a daughter, Ella Franco Modrick; and a son, Marion Dean Modrick.
Survivors include a son, Ed Modrick and wife, Eula, of Amarillo; a granddaughter, LaParsha Wise and husband, Mike; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Washington Avenue Christian Church, 3800 S. Washington, Amarillo, TX 79110.
