Lori Elizabeth Huseman, 45, of Amarillo died Sunday, April 20, 2003. Prayer services will be in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Carathers officiating. Mass will be in the church with the Rev. Pat Carathers and the Rev. John Hickey officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Huseman was born in Dimmitt on Aug. 20, 1957, and raised in Nazareth. She graduated from Nazareth High School and West Texas State University. She resided in Amarillo and worked for Asarco until 1987.
She married Allen Freeman in Amarillo in 1988. She became a medical technician in 1988 and worked as one in Amarillo then Nederland and later Big Spring. She moved to Nederland in 1991 then to Big Spring in 1997, returning to Amarillo in 2001. She attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Her priority was providing a warm and comforting home for her family. She enjoyed gardening and working with flowers in the yard. She was a loving wife of Allen and loving and devoted mother of Jared, Chris, Sarah and Annie. Her family is very thankful for the honor of having Lori in their lives. We will always remember her with love.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Freeman and Annie Nicole Freeman;two sons, Jared Andrew Huseman and Christopher Clayton Freeman; her parents, Louis and Gin Huseman of Nazareth; four sisters, Becky Ramos of Tulia, Bonnie Huseman and Mary Jean Wilhelm, both of Amarillo, and Jenny Teafatiller of Littlefield; five brothers,Paul,Greg, David,Bart and Mike Huseman;and many nieces and nephews.
