Steven Wesley Childers
Dies at Home Sunday at
Noon
Steven Wesley Childers, 81, died at his home on Route 4, near the King School Sunday at noon following an extended illness.
Mr. Childers was born Mar 18, 1871, a son of Enoch and Rebecca Childers. He married Miss Etta Steward, who died in July 1939.
Surviving are one son Enoch Clinton Childers, three brothers James Childers, Albert Childers, and Jesse Childers and two sisters, Miss Minnie Childers and Miss Amanda Childers, all at home.
Funeral service s were held at the Mt. Rupert Church Tuesday afternoon at 2'o'clock with the Rev. M. O. Cross officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
