"Wayne Adams of Kingman died at 5:55 a.m. Monday at his residence. He was 68.

Mr. Adams was a retired truck driver. He served in the Air Force and was a member of American Legion Fellenzer Post 48 of Rockville.

He was born May 2, 1943, in Florida, to Lloyd Adams and Agnes Hackney Blake. He married June Brown on June 1, 2002, at Tangier. She survives.

Other survivors include: step-daughters, Micki (Josh) White and Katie Patton, both of Lodi, and Colleen Osten of Florida; step-son Guy Tippin of Bonneau, S.C.; brother Glenn (Susan) Adams of Maple Grove, Minn.; sister Debbie (Ed) Gallatin of Brazil; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Gooch Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Perry officiating. Burial with military graveside honors by Parke County Veterans will be at Memory Garden Cemetery at Rockville.
