Friends of Mr. John M. Newman, prominent farmer of Proctor, were grieved to learn of his death, which occurred at the Wetzel County hospital on Monday. Mr. Newman was 65 years of age and leaves besides his widow, four daughters and three sons, namely: Mrs. Clark Parsons, Mrs. Vaxter Smith, Mrs. Clarence Fitzsimmons, Miss Helen and Messrs Percy and Jesse.
Funeral services were held at the Antioch church, Thursday morning and interment was made in the Antioch cemetery.
