Elijah Arbogast
Elijah "Eli" Dustin Arbogast, 71, of Mannington, passed away Feb. 27, 2005, at his residence.
He was born at Beaver Creek, Beverly, March 17, 1933, the son of the late Mason Clark Arbogast and Lilly Blanche Taylor Arbogast.
Mr. Arbogast is survived by one sister, Iva Shreve of Beverly; two brothers, Lawrence Arbogast and wife, Hattie, of Elkins and Virgil "Dick" Arbogast and wife, Gerri, of California; two sisters-in-law, Joan Arbogast of Pennsylvania and Carmella Arbogast of Elkins; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Arbogast was preceded in death by two brothers, Willis Arbogast and Clarence Arbogast; and one sister, Kathleen Arbogast.
Mr. Arbogast was a laborer having worked in construction and he also attended the Upper Room Church in Clarksburg.
Friends and family may call at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 So. Pike St. in Shinnston from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today where funeral services will be held Friday at noon with the Rev. Franklin Shreve officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
