Funeral services for Michael Dean Radford, 20, of Dearing, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of S.A. Blanchard Funeral Home with James D. Dobbins officiating. Burial was in the Kingdom Hall Cemetery.
Mr. Radford died Saturday in an Augusta hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was a native of McDuffie County, attended Thomson High School, and was employed by Piggly Wiggly Stores of Louisville. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Radford, Dearing; one sister, Mrs. Mary Ruth Hebbard, Dearing; maternal grandfather, Calvin McGahee, Dearing; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.N. Radford, Dearing.
Pallbearers were Floyd Herndon, John Street, Calvin Street, Charles Cope, Rubin McCorkle, and James Gentry.
