Joyce L. (Tate) Biggers of Newark, TX, formerly of Jonesboro went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 4:45 pm. She was born March 27, 1937 in Kennett, MO to John and Maudie Raney. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church and spent most of her life as a stay at home mom and housewife. She later worked for several years at Jr. Foods. She was an avid gardener and loved doing crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Toney Biggers of the home; four daughters, Charlotte J. Watts and her husband Walter of Atkins, Sharon K. Randel and her husband Gary of Jonesboro, Diane Brewer and her husband Jimmy, and Teresa Wallace, all of Fort Worth, TX; a son, Ricky Biggers and his wife Cindy of Fort Worth, TX; fifteen grandchildren, Stephanie Joiner of Paragould, Shane Shackleford of Russellville, Blake Randel of Jonesboro, Sandi Lattin of Conway, Ladonna Watts of Evanston, WY, Vicki Watts of Of Perryville, Jeff Watts of Benton, Greg Watts of Dardanelle, Mary Lou Wallace, Mary Elizabeth Biggers, Jamey Tillery, Ricky Biggers, Phillip Tillery, Matthew Tillery and Robin Brewer, all of Fort Worth, TX; and twenty-two great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Sanford Tate, Jr.; a son, Anthony Sanford Tate; her parents John and Maudie Raney: six brothers Sherman, Lloyd, Alvin, Howard, Denver and Eugene Raney; and three sisters Buela Hanners, Ruby Gray and Lois Faith.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Roscoe Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include Blake Randel, Shane Shackleford, Jeff Watts, Ronnie Joiner, Charles Stracener, Tim Swiercz. Honorary bearers will include Larry Dulaney, Garry Tate, Mark Orr, Jeremy Lattin, Justin Spencer, Brandon Smith and Tony Sterling.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
