Winifred A. (Connell) Daly, 76, a lifelong resident of the Forge Village section of Westford, died yesterday, Aug. 8, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Daly.
She was born in Westford on April 15, 1927, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dolphine (Socha) Connell. She attended Westford schools, where she was a standout athlete. She also attended the Bradshaw Business School.

Mrs. Daly worked for many years at the Wright Trucking Co. in Lowell.

She was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church in Westford.
