NORFOLK - Vivian M. "Bea" Doyle, 75, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away June 23, 2011. She was born May 31, 1936 to the late Dorothy Wilson and George H. Moody in Norfolk. She was predeceased by her son, Albert L. Doyle Jr.; maternal grandparents, Vivian and John Harper; paternal grandmother, Louise Moody; aunts, Elizabeth Payne and Helen McCoughin; one uncle, John Harper Jr. Bea was a 1953 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She retired from the Department of Defense as a computer analyst after 35 years of service. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Cleveland. She is survived by two daughters, Adrienne D. Whitby and Dorothea D. Walker; grandchildren, Quanji Jordan (Quinton), Quianna Doyle, Andre Charman, Crystal Doyle and James Whitby; great-grandchildren, Quincy Jordan, Shaquan Cuffee, Ahmiya Doyle, Adrian Cuffee, Shaun Cuffee Jr. and Adrienne Charman; former husband, Albert L. Doyle Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Way of The Cross, 2800 Chesapeake Blvd. Pastor Christ Hines will officiate. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 1033 Sunset Drive, Norfolk one hour prior to the service for the procession to the church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel.
