Currilla was the daughter of George Allen Tarr and Sarah Emily Young. She married Harley J Pickens on June 27, 1896 in Missouri. Harley died in Kansas sometime between 1905 and 1910. Currilla never remarried. Harley and Curilla had two children; a son, Cleo Harley and a daughter, Beulah. Beulah predeceased her mother. Currill never truely recovered from this loss.
