Mr and Mrs Elmer Rosser and son arrived here Wednesday for a visit with his mother, Mrs Margaret Rosser. Mrs Rosser did not know that she was coming to the funeral of her father, A A Fitzpatrick, when she left her home in Kinsley, Kansas, but she had made every preparation for a splendid vacation. When she arrived at Center she was informed that her father had arrived on the same train, a corpse. Mr and Mrs Rosser, when boarding the train at Hannibal for Center, noticed a corpse being placed on the train, but did not think of it being her father. The news of his death failed to reach them before they left their home in Kansas.
