After graduating from San Juan High School in 1972 he traveled extensively in United States while training and driving harness race horses. He met his future wife, Jeryl, when he began to work for her father's race horse stable. After they were married they trained race horses together for awhile but eventually went into construction business. After that they branched out to their new business Anderson's Concrete. They had 2 children Staphanie and Kyle. Chris was involved with the Westlake Agoura Girls Softball League for many years, both coaching Stephanie's teams and serving as member on Board of Directors. He loved being "Coach Chris" and was known for his sense of fun and fair play. He led both an Indian Guides Tribe and a Club Scout den so that he could spend more time with Kyle. An avid hiker, he relished his times hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains. He had planned on hiking the John Muir Trail this summer so next summer family and friends plan to take him on that hike, scattering his remains in some peaceful green meadow. He was a very dedicated father, husband and friend and will be greatly missed.
