Sikeston - Raymond David Brown, 47, of Sikeston, formerly of East Prairie, died Saturday, May 28, 1994, at his residence.

He was born June 11, 1946, at Dorena, son of William Raymond and Mildred L. Priest Brown.

He married Martha Gregory, Aug. 16, 1969.

Brown lived in Sikeston for the last 18 years, where he worked at McKinnie's Best Way, formerly Bloemers Grocery.

He was a member of the First Christian Church of Sikeston. Brown was also a former elder at the First Christian Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Shannon Brown and Amy Brown, both of Sikeston; a brother, Lionel Brown of East Prairie; and a sister, Peggy Benson of East Prairie.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Martin Lucas and the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
