He is survived by his widow and four sons: James H., living near Pleasant-Dale, Geo. C. of Oberlin, K an., Walter and Robert, still at home.
He was raised in the Catholic faith, but in later years attended the Protestant church. He was a man of quiet disposition, of stanch integrity, a faithful friend, a good neighbor and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a charter member of Oberlin council, No. 106, Sons and Daughters of Justice.
Services were conducted in the M. E. church, Sunday at 2 o'clock p. m., Rev. Thos. D. Davia of Milford Congregational church, preaching the funeral sermon, and burial was made in the Pleasant Dale cemetery.
