GREENFIELD, Mass. - Mrs. Alice E. Johnson Taylor, 90, of Bernardston, formerly of Brattleboro, Vt., died this morning in Franklin County Public Hospital. She was the widow of Winnie E. Taylor. Funeral arrangements had not been completed this noon. The body was taken to Rohde & Dawley Funeral Home, Brattleboro. Born in West Brattleboro Oct. 26, 1869, she was the daughter of Alonzo and Sarah (holmes) Johnson. Her marriage to Mr. taylor took place May 28, 1887 in West Brattleboro, where the couple lived for many years. Mr. Taylor died in 1917. His widow had lived in Bernardston with a son, Warren for 13 years. Surviving besides her son in Bernardston are two other sons, Harland of Gill and Paul of Greenfield; one daughter, Mrs. Clara Newton of Bernardston; four grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the West Brattleboro Baptist Church.
