Blanche and her husband Fred raise her nephew Raymond D Brindley Jr. for several years.
They started their long love in Tennessee and finally married in Detroit, Wayne Co. Michigan. They defied the Superstition of Friday the thirteenth and Married March 13,1936.
She worked side by side with her husband and they built many business's over the years. Finally settling in Silver City, Grant Co., New Mexico, as owners of the Silver Stageline, Silver Package Store and Barkers Tavern.
Their hard work paid off , they bought over 200 acres of the Anchor Ranch and built their custom home . They loved the wild life and the black skies that looked like they were sprinkled with diamonds . They stocked the pond so when family came, they could do some fishing. They enjoyed watching their niece Bunny and nephew Ray riding their horse Apache. Which bunny did often ,even in the parades.
The Huff's had a long and beautiful life together.
In it's day their home was a show place ,built by Johnny Redlinger. Their many friend and business partners enjoyed many wonderful gathering at their home.
She was a avid reader and kept her southern learning all her life.
She was a Christian and a long time member of the Methodist Church. She continued to study her bible until her death. Blanche passed into the arms our Lord at the Lutheran Home of Monroe surrounded by family.
