Emma Jean Cain, 89, died Monday evening at St. John's Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Switzerland County and lived in Indianapolis most of her life. She had resided in Anderson for the past 4 and a half years. She was employed as a cashier at the Thompson Restaurant in Indianapolis for 20 years.
She was a member of the Psychic Science Spiritualists Church, Indianapolis. She was the widow of Sidney E. Cain.
She is survived by a sister and four nieces and three nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel, Indianapolis. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
