Margie Raley Dean, 53, of Rocky Branch, La., a native of Danville, died Friday at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport after a long illness.
Survivors include her husband, Jurd Dean Sr.; her mother Lucille Raley of Danville; two daughters, Kay Letterman and Vera Waldon, both of Danville; two sons, Jurd Dean Jr. of Crossroads, La., and Billy Joe Dean of Rocky Branch; one brother, Bob Raley of Danville; two sisters, Delpha Tate of Perryville and Joyce Phillips of Harrodsburg; and four grandchildren. And many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Clell Raley, her brother Joseph Junior Raley, and her sister Alma Loraine Tate.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmersville, La. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.
