Glyn Connally Petree, 60, of Louisville and formerly of Laurinburg died suddenly Wednesday evening, May 11, 2011.
A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Hillside Cemetery, Laurinburg.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar N. "Pete" Petree; a son, Michael Petree of Louisville; a daughter, Margie Petree of Louisville; a sister, Carole Biggs of Laurinburg, a granddaughter, Anna Petree.
Born October 18, 1960 in Johnston County, NC, Glyn was a daughter of the late George and Margaret Dorsey Connally. Glyn was a member of the first graduating class at Scotland High School (1968,) and was a graduate of UNC-Greensboro. For many years she taught in the Scotland county Schools before moving to Kentucky. She was a pre-K teacher at the Dyck Elementary School in Louisville.
