Mr. Noel, 77, 1925A E. Pleasant Valley Blvd, formerly of Bellwood, died Tuesday morning at Altoona Hospital following an extended illness. He was born July 16, 1919, in Tyrone the son the late Howard Blair and Mary Belle (Peary) Noel. He married Eva J. Roub Dec 25, 1938, in Bellwood. Mr. Noel attended the Logan Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood. He retired as a pipefitter from the Juniata shops of Conrail in July 1980 after 37 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of WWII with the rank of seaman first class. Mr. Noel enjoyed collecting model trains and fishing. He was a member of the Excelsior Vol. Fire Co. Bellwood and the Central District Firemen's Association. Surviving are his wife; four daughters; Patty Bonsell of Tyrone, Darlene Bergsted of Altoona, Becky Hunter of Tyrone RD5 and Julia Adams of Williamsburg, a brother John W. of Louisville, KY; a sister Vyrl Wilson of Tyrone RD5; 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren
