Myrtle was united in marriage to Bernard Allen Harris on December 27, 1930. Together they had six children. They later divorced. on May 10,1944 Mrs. Harris married Eldon Orville Thompson. Together they two children.

Myrtle Helen Thompson, 70, of Seward, NE died Saturday, April 16, 1983. She was born to Chester and Anna (Bender) Waegli at Cedar Rapids, NE. on August 10, 1912. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eldon Thompson in 1971, two daughters and one great-grandchild. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Thompson of Lincoln, NE.; and LeRoy Harris of Yale, OK; four daughters, Ilene McMillin of Utica, NE.; Joan Harris of South Sioux City, Delores (Mrs. Ray) McCoy of Kearney, NE.; and Cora Lea Millian of Beaver Crossing, NE; one brother, Ed Waegli of Tamora; two sisters, Catherine IMrs. Delos) Porter of Hoquim, WA.; and Emma (Mrs. George Buckmaster of Seward, NE; 20 grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday, April 19, at the Wood Brothers Chapel, Seward, Pastors Steven Flader and Marvin Koelling officiating; Burial was in the Seward Cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl and Roger Graves, Ray Meysenburg, Art Waegli, David Nagel and George Buckmaster.
