Leland J. Haylett, 23, of Franklin, died at 4:50
p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at UPMC Shadyside, after a battle with Leukemia. Born April 15, 1985, in Oil City, he was the son of William Edward Haylett and Shirley Scott. He was a 2004 graduate of Franklin High School. Mr. Haylett was disabled and formally worked at McCain Packing House. He was a member of the Rainbow Sportsman's Club board of directors and a former member of the Utica Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Haylett loved racing, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his parents, William Edward Haylett and Shirley Haylett; one sister, Marley Marie Haylett; one brother, William E.
Haylett II; and his maternal grandfather, Leland Scott.
He was prececed in death by his paternal grandparents, James Ralph and
Mildred Ann Haylett; and his maternal grandmother, Mildred J. Scott.
