Fred L. Peart, 77, of Grant Park, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 in South Chicago Heights. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hack Funeral Home, Beecher, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Denis White will officiate.
Burial will be in Momence Cemetery.
Mr. Peart had worked in a label operation at a beverage company. He was born Jan. 23, 1932 in Momence, the son of George and Edith Viola Baker Peart. His wife, Shirley, is deceased. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
Surviving are four sons and two daughters-in-law, [names withheld; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and four sisters and one brother-in-law, Edith Metcalf of Oglesby, Letha Woodruff of South Chicago Heights, Bessie and Chuck Mitchum of Sandoval, and Gertrude Mobley of Centralia.
