Mr. Peart had worked in a label operation at a beverage company. He was born Jan. 23, 1932 in Momence, the son of George and Edith Viola Baker Peart. His wife, Shirley, is deceased. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
Surviving are four sons and two daughters-in-law, [names withheld; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and four sisters and one brother-in-law, Edith Metcalf of Oglesby, Letha Woodruff of South Chicago Heights, Bessie and Chuck Mitchum of Sandoval, and Gertrude Mobley of Centralia.
