Alice Lucille Halsted, 91, of Farmington, Illinois passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 3:47 AM at the Farmington Country Manor.
Alice was born January 17, 1925 in Brimfield, Illinois, the daughter of Everett Henry Foster and Violet Rynearson. She married Robert Halsted on September 28, 1946 in Peoria, Illinois. Alice retired from the International Paper in 1990 after 24 years.
She is survived by her children Susan Lynn Bedwell of Elmwood, Illinois, James Robert Halsted of Pinckneyville, Illinois, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings, Shirley (and Auldey) Whitson of Gilson, Illinois, Archie Foster of Elmwood, Illinois, Don Foster of Oak Run, Illinois, Jim Foster of East Peoria, Illinois, Joyce Foster and Bob Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings, Francis Burson, Norman Foster, Merle Foster, and Walter Foster.
Cremation rites will be accorded with the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois.
