BIRCH T. GOSNELL
SPARTANBURG - Birch T. Gosnell, 78, of Rt. 7, Spartanburg was dead on arrival at a local hospital Sunday morning.
He was a retired textile worker and was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Whiteside Gosnell; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Brown of Rt. 7, Spartanburg; a son, J. N. Gosnell of Rt. 7, Spartanburg; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Green of Reidville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Methodist Church at Valley Falls by Rev. Louis Jamison and Rev. Troy Petty.
Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
