She was the daughter of the late Roy Glan and Virginia Pearlee Turner Keys born on July 28, 1946 in Knox County. Mrs. Bowling was a LPN at the former Boone Manor Nursing Home. She
united in marriage with LeRoy Smith and to this union three children were born. On June 14, 1994, she united in marriage with Dannie Bowling.
Survivors include her husband, Dannie Bowling of Owens Hollow; her children Karen Smith, Kevin Smith, and Kim (Mrs. Scott) Cavazos; and her stepmother, Carol Keys of Owens Hollow.
Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the
Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Don Farmer, the Rev. Mike Keys and Bro. Chris Warren officiating. Mrs. Bowling was laid to rest in the Reeves Family Cemetery at Owens Hollow.
