Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Wood Bros. chapel for Richard Arthur Grigsby, 76, Seward, who died Tuesday. May 7. Rev. Wayne Schreurs officiated. Burial was in the Seward cemetery.

Casket bearers were Louis Schnittker, Edward Sehultze, Chris Vogel, Paul Rolfsmeier, Elton Dohrmann, and Ray Yank.

Born January 3. 1887 he was married September 3, 1913, to Blanche Peterson,

He is survived by his wife: sons Ted and John of Seward, and Thomas of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four daughters. Mrs. Wm. Baumbach, Seward, Mrs. Russell Sexton, Layton, Utah, Mrs. Inez Bogard, Kansas City, Mrs. Ollis Aton, Fairbanks, Alaska; 21 grandchildren.
