Florence was Born Jan. 22, 1922 in Hartford Vermont. She is the daughter of Elmer Ladd Adams 1900 - 1974 and Lauretta Mock Adams 1899 - 1974 whom made their home in Hartford Vermont. She graduated from Hartford High School where she was a basketball player. She took a job as a stenographer for Fellows Gear Shaper in Springfield Vermont. Where she met Ralph A Morrison, an engineer there and they were married Aug. 10, 1943. Ralph joined the Navy to fight in WW2. Florence moved back to her parents in Hartford while he was away. They had their first child, Earl Ladd "Butch" Morrison while he was in Navy. Ralph returned back to Fellows. They had their second son Ralph Scotney "Scott" Morrison before leaving for Massachusetts, where Ralph got a job for United Shoe. They built a house in Topsfield where the added 3rd son Bruce Edward Morrison. Florence became a bookkeeper for Pyrofax Gas in Topsfield and retired from there. Both Ralph and Florence retired to Miami Oklahoma to be near their son Scott. Florence died of Alzihimers in 1996. Ralph passed a year later. They are both buried in Glenn Abbey cemetery in Miami, down street from Scott's house there.
