MILES CHAPPELL
Miles Chappell, a highly respected citizen of Shelby County, died March 29, at the age of 89 years. Funeral services were conducted March 31, from the Wilsonville Baptist Church, the Rev. Henry Hobbs and the Rev. Frank D. Sims officiating. Suvivors are six daughters: Mrs. Helen Baker, Wilsonville; Mrs. Emma Lee, Sylacauga; Mrs. Edna Smith Fla.; Mrs. Faye Masters, Bessember; Mrs. Nell Barnes and Mrs. Annie Feiock, Columbiana; five sons, Elgin, Ensley, Boyer, Wilsonville; Leon, Bessember and Dick, Adamsville; three brothers and one sister. Interment in Wilsonville Cemetery.
Note: Miles was the son of Isaac Green Chappell and Emma Hannah Johnson, daughter of John W. Johnson and Nancy London.
