Wilbert C. Frye, 61, of LaBelle, Pa., died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, in his home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Frye was born on Sept. 23, 1941, a son of Wilbert E. Frye of LaBelle, who survives and the late Wilma R. Covin Frye.
He is a member of the United Christian Church in Malden. He is a 1960 graduate of Brownsville Area High School. He was retired from USX Edgar Thompson works in Braddock, Pa. He was a member of United States Workers of America, Local No. 1219.
On Feb. 14, 1964, he married Virginia Abbott, who survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Phillip Lutes and his wife, Kim of LaBelle, Pa., Walter Lutes and his wife, Michele of Phoenix, Ariz., Wilbert M. Frye and his wife, Bobbi of LaBelle, Pa., Victor Frye and his wife, Susan of Carmichaels, Pa., and Larry Frye of Denbo Heights, Pa.; ten grandchildren; one brother, Merle O. Frye and his wife, Marie of Clarksville, Pa.; a sister, Gloria Szulkowski of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and several cousins.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, Pa., where services will be held with the Rev. Wesley Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Horn Cemetery, Marianna, Pa.
