Mrs. Elizabeth Coyne

Clark Mills–Mrs. Elizabeth (Lena) Overend Coyne, 86, of 24 Pratt Ave., widow of Frank Coyne, died yesterday in a local hospital. She was born in Yorkshire, England and attended schools there. She settled in Clark Mills in 1900. For many years she was a weaver at Hinds & Harrison Plush Co.. In 1900 1910 she was married to Mr. Coyne. He died in 1935. The couple had always resided in Westmoreland and Clark Mills. She was a member of the Church of the Annunciation and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. John (Norah) Bethlehem and Mrs. William (Gertrude) Saunders, both of Clark Mills; two sons Francis M., Clark Mills, and John F., Westmoreland, and two sisters, Mrs. Margeret Shepard of Clark Mills, and Mrs. Gertrude Foster of Philadelphia, Pa.

The funeral will be at 8:45 Saturday from the Owens Funeral Home, Clinton, and 9:30 from the Church of the Annunciation, with a solemn requiem Mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
