"Helen I. Peterson, 75, 2418 Eightth Ave., died Monday at an Omaha nursing facility after an extended illness.

She was born in Balfour, Iowa and had resided most of her life in Council Bluffs. She was the widow of Glenn Henry Jacob Peterson who died in September 1980.

Surviving are three brothers, Clyde Richardson of Castle Rock, Colo., Harry Richardson of Malvern and John Richardson of Omaha and a sister, Winifred Ferrel of Whittier, Calif.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Meyer Funeral Home. The Rev. Rick Dee, pastor of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery."
