Jeanette Iva Livingston, nee Stiers, 82, of Crowley, Texas, formerly of Granite City, Ill., born March 6, 1926, in Rhineland, Mo., died at 3:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, in Crowley, Texas. Mrs. Livingston was a homemaker and former owner of Livingston Oil Company in Granite City, Ill. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and a member of Naviagators Club at church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett C. "Ben" Livingston who died Dec. 19, 2003; and her parents Alexander and Malvenia, nee Grotewiel, Stiers. Surviving are her sons, Terry (Diana) Livingston of Granite City, Ill., Gene Livingston of Granite City, Ill., and Dale Livingston of Livingston, Ill.; her daughter, Mary Livngston of Burleson, Texas; a grandson, David Livingston of Puyallup, Wash.; a sister, Edith (Gene) Wolfmeier of Fulton, Mo.; a brother, Billy Stiers of Hamms Prairie, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews, special friends and family members. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Gateway Hospice. Visitation; Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, Ill. Funeral; Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church, 2164 Delmar, Granite City, Ill., with Rev. Fowler officiating.
