WENONA — Kevin M. Akridge, 38, of Wenona died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital, where he had been a patient for one week.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Church, Wenona. The Rev. Ray Guthrie will be the celebrant.
Burial of the cremains will be in Wenona City Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
The Hurst Funeral Home, Wenona, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Wenona on Oct. 12, 1966, he was the son of Darvin and Carolyn (Howe) Akridge. He married Theresa Bocheneke on Jan. 5, 1995. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents in Wenona; a stepdaughter, Jacqueline Kozel and a stepson, James Kozel, both of Wenona; a stepgranddaughter; a sister, Diane (Mrs. Kurt) Burroughs of Deer Creek; and two nieces.
He was employed as a maintenance man.
