Coroner Wood said that death was attributed to a stroke. The body of Black was found lying on the bedroom floor. He is believed to have arisen from bed to take medicine, which had been prescribed since he suffered a stroke a week ago.
His health had not been too good, but he had been able eto get around the house, his daughter told the coroner. She said her father seemed to be all right when she left for work at 6:45 a.m. Monday. Death was believed to have occurred about two hours before she returned.
